I agree with you completely. I go to church and believe in aspects of Christianity, but this is one issue I can't compromise on, and unfortunately, some people reall ydo use the "Christian" title as an excuse to be homophobic, or worse, don't even realize what they're being. A number of them are my close friends, and it kills me to see such hatred and ignorance and dangerous thought process.

All I can do is rant about it on my lj and be a Christian that counters these bigoted ways!
