April 5, 1994 was the sad day on which Kurt Cobain shot himself. It has been eleven years today since that horrible decision. I know it seems impossible to miss someone you've never met, but I do. I really do. I miss him so incredibly. He was incredible. Rest in eternal peace, Kurt. I love you. I have lots of homework lately. But it's actually too boring to elaborate on. I saw a play of Macbeth last week - it was really well done. It was a 'theater-in-the-round' where the audience sat around the production. It was super cool. I passed my Math test, thank God, which means I'll pass this term of math. And I did really well on my French lecture test. Wow - I really don't feel like saying much. Oh, yeah, there's this interesting kid at school. He's a bit emo, but I like him so far. He talks to me sometimes, and he's nice to everyone. And then today I noticed he was wearing two bracelets. One that said P.U.S.H., which stands for Pray Until Something Happens, and F.R.O.G., which stands for Fully Rely On God. When I asked him what they meant, he was actually able to tell me, and he didn't hesitate at all. I was incredibly impressed and intrigued by this, and want to to talk to him about it. I'm kind of scared to bring it up, though, cause he might think it's weird. Oh well. Well, before I depart, I'll leave you with some Nirvana lyrics. Please keep him in your thoughts today. how's the book? i'm about half way through ordinary people and it's really good so far. i think i liked the movie calvin better though.

As much as I love Nirvana's music , I have to say that Kurt Cobain wasn't a great person , after he killed himself , it became "cool" to be depressed and thus modern emo was born. I do admit though , I loved his music. But hardly a role model. Just my two cents , please don't tear me a new ass :P

Kurt was a good person. He made mistakes, like everyone else in the world does. It wasn't his fault that emo was born. You can thank all those shit bands like Good Charlotte and Simple Plan.

Kurt's music inspired people. He was depressed, and it was never his desire to make other people that way. If you don't want me to tear you a new ass, then please don't judge someone you've never met.
