Mostly I thought this episode was kinda... mediocre.

What I liked:

+ Brittana. Holy shit, Santana nearly made me cry. What a powerful scene! Naya Rivera's performance in that scene, and throughout the episode, was truly flawless.

+ Burt's amazing, amazing words to Kurt in the kitchen. Best. Dad. Ever.

+ The conversation between Blaine and Burt. Wow. It was seriously ballsy of Blaine to actually talk to Burt like that, about that subject. He also revealed some very interesting character stuff about his own relationship with his dad, made some really compelling arguments, and actually got Burt to talk to Kurt about sex.

Also, I love that Burt checked if Blaine was gay. You can just see how hopeful he is that Kurt might actually get to experience those things they talked about earlier in the season, that he might get to hold the hand of the boy he likes! ♥

+ The Klaine scene in Kurt's room. Oh, my heart. I just--ugh, I felt so bad for Kurt there. How can Blaine not realize how uncomfortable it would be for Kurt to talk to the object of his affections about that kind of intimacy? I'm not sure he fully understood the conversation he and Kurt had in the coffee shop in Silly Love Songs. Maybe he doesn't realize how deep Kurt's feelings go?

Oh, just kiss already!

+ Yay for Puck and Lauren kissage.

+ Sue was fucking hysterical.

ASIDES:

- I want to like Animal. I want to love it, but the autotune, especially on Chris' parts, just puts me off so much. I know Glee does it all the time, but it's not usually so distracting! I don't mind a little bit, stylistically, but it was way too much, and very unnecessary.

- I am so fucking sick of Finn and Quinn. Get off the screen, ffs!

- I'm very lukewarm about the adults' storylines in this episode. Will, Emma, Holly... they were just so boring and unlikeable to me. Idk.

~~Will and Holly's first kiss was kind of super hot, tho~~

- I am extremely excited for Regionals next week. I hope it's as amazing as it has the potential to be.
