Title: You'll Be All Right (In the Aftermath)
Author: [livejournal.com profile] rockinhamburger
Rating: PG-13
Summary: Adam knows something's wrong when Brad doesn't text him back. He's quite prompt with his texts; always has been, and Adam's worries are not assuaged when he calls Brad's phone and it goes straight to voicemail.
Word Count: 1,600.
Disclaimer: Totally do not own these people. These words are lies; never happened. Don't read this, Brad!
Notes: So I finally wrote something for my H/C Bingo Card for the prompt bruises. It's obviously hurt/comfort, and it deals with the aftermath of violence. Approach with caution if that makes you wary.

You are not alone... )

So, I know I should be working on my bigbang fic and my WIP for the current AI kinkmeme (and I am), but my muse doesn't listen to common sense like, 'uh, you have to write 20,000 words in two weeks; what the FUCK are you doing!?' Instead, my muse would prefer to make me write something completely different that came to me while I was at work today.

Soooo!

Title: Body Language
Author: [livejournal.com profile] rockinhamburger
Rating: PG-13
Pairing: Adam/Kris. Established relationship.
Word Count: 1,200.
Summary: Kris finds an interesting video on Adam's computer. It bothers him on several levels, but on one in particular...
Notes: Not much else to say, really. Hope you like it! Oh, the title is taken from the song of the same name, by Queen :)

'Look, you were... really into it,' Kris finally says, quiet and embarrassed. )
rockinhamburger: (Zach & Chris)
Title: Return to Sender
Author: [livejournal.com profile] rockinhamburger
Rating: I don't know... PG13 for swearing, I guess...
Summary: Zach bit his tongue, didn't say Wow, you weren't kidding; things ARE moving quickly - maybe too quickly? I mean, you just met this chick two months ago.... Instead he said, "Awesome!" with as much enthusiasm as his stupid heart would allow.
Pairing: Zach/Chris, one-sided. Olivia gets a mention.
Word Count: 580. A quickie. And not the good kind; sorry.
Author's Note: Correct me if I'm wrong; it's the Holidays, isn't it? This time generally calls for some joy and good spirit, doesn't it? Certainly not angst? So, it beats me why this angstfest came outta me.

I don't usually write angst, actually. Feels weird. )

Title: Still Desire You
Author: [livejournal.com profile] rockinhamburger
Rating: PG-13 for Chris' potty mouth.
Pairing: Chris/Zach.
Word Count: Roughly 900.
Disclaimer: Not real.
Summary: This is a response to the prompt left on the trek_rpf_kink meme. The original prompt: Chris splits his lip somehow and has to get stitches, and the doctor urges him not to keep licking at it because it could get infected. Cue Chris going NUTS. And making the people around him nuts too. But Zach ends up getting the brunt of it. You can find the original prompt and response here!
Notes: I did my own little spin on the prompt, and to be honest, there's not really a whole lot in here besides some banter, long-suffering!Zach and bitchy!Chris. But it is kinda fun anyway!

Title: Five Times Bones Just Knows
Author: Yours truly ([livejournal.com profile] rockinhamburger )
Rating: PG-13 for some swearing. Why do I always fail to bring the pr0n when it comes to Trek??
Pairing: Definitely Kirk/McCoy, but it's all in how you read between the lines.
Disclaimer: I - quite obviously - do not own Star Trek. Roddenberry is the genius behind it, and I am but a lowly fan.
Summary: Jim vaguely wonders how he managed before Bones came into his life.
Notes: This is my first Kirk/McCoy fic. I've been working on it here and there for the better part of a month, and I think I like it. I hope you will, too. Unbetaed, unfortunately, so any and all mistakes are mine; please feel free to point them out to me!

Title: Cause and Effect (Part 1/4)
Author: [livejournal.com profile] rockinhamburger aka Nikki
Rating: PG-13
Summary: Detective Carlton Lassiter is named primary investigator on a particularly close-to-home case in which Shawn's not available for a consult -- because he's the victim. As Lassiter searches for Shawn's attacker, and Shawn lies in a comatose state, he begins to do some inner soul-searching. Struggling to remain objective in light of his new, alarming feelings for Shawn Spencer, can he overcome his insecurities and prove exactly why he's the youngest Head Detective to ever be named to the force?
Word Count: 18,850!
Disclaimer: Obviously I don't own Psych, as it belongs to the wonderful Steve Franks, and the lovely USA Network. I just like spending stupid amounts of time on these characters!
Notes: Firstly, I need to give my eternal love and thanks to [livejournal.com profile] brevityis, my beta-reader, who (perhaps unwisely) offered her brilliant editing services to me shortly after I started writing this monster. She is entirely responsible for its coherency, and she deserves much more than this measly shout-out. Thank you so much, hon! Additional thanks to [livejournal.com profile] deadlybride and [livejournal.com profile] luna_moonsilver for the extra encouragement.

There are a few legal details later in this story that I needed to go off-book with. If you are familiar with criminal law, you may find this aspect somewhat grating, and I apologize ahead of time for it. I assure you it is for the good of the story, and that it isn't anything too serious!
