Lol, oh, religious groups. I can't decide if they are really ignorant of the fact that whenever they try to "ban" something it a) doesn't work and b) drums up more publicity for whatever it is they're trying to ban, or if they are aware and are just doing it to drum up publicity for themselves. Either way:



I've noticed that the more successful Gaga gets, the more negative criticism she gets from just about everybody. Even the LGBT community. Which is ridiculous and annoying, but especially disturbing because straight male musicians never get as much flack, even when they use religious themes.

I'm incredibly unsurprised that she's exploring religion in her new album. She's from a Catholic family, went to Catholic school, of course she's going to use that in her art. Is she not allowed to? Because it's different? Whatever. It's like people who dismissed Born This Way because they thought it was a religious anthem. Is she not allowed to believe in God?

Sigh.
