Date: 2010-05-03 03:21 pm (UTC)Well, look on the bright side! You live in Europe. That means you automatically win at life! :D And it's awesome you're seeing Green Day. I haven't seen them, but they played an openair show not too far from where I live a few years ago, so I heard them perfectly. Same thing with Coldplay, Simple Plan, Radiohead, and... others that I can't think of right now. Openair concerts are the best. Don't have to pay!
Thanks so much for the well wishes here. I'm so determined to do this. My friend and I are gonna take the train from Montreal to Toronto for only about 24 hours, just so we can see Adam do his THANG.
And don't worry; Adam'll be along to play for you (personally, of course) in AUTUMN/FAIL, and everything will be great!

OF COURSE I like Europe :D but sometimes you spend like three years waiting for a band to play ONE gig in a country of 140,000 square miles. Yay. I went to an openair concert last year and it was AMAZING. There is this one band with three members and they all have their own bands too (they're like, old, lol) but I went to see the frontman's band and damn I LOVE THEM. They have very witty lyrics, a whack sense of humour and they play at least 3 hours straight! (also, escaped the Wall of Death once again :D ) I could watch them twice a year if they played more often :D
ah, and I'm travelling too to see Green Day, I already have my train ticket. Are trains in Canada okay?
Hahaha, yeah ^^ (ac-shully, I really expect them to come here because we're like, the biggest CD market in Europe so he'll probably come here after touring the UK ^^ Doesn't seem like he cared about France.)

Date: 2010-05-03 04:45 pm (UTC)The trains in Canada are really great, actually! From Montreal to Toronto it's only about five hours, so we could leave the day of the show and come back the day after, and it'll only be 150$ round-trip! Not bad at all. I'm trying to see if there's someone who could put us up in Toronto for the night, otherwise maybe we can find a cheap motel.
Adam will TOTES play some shows in the UK! He already has, I think, at G-A-Y. He loves y'all so much (fuckin' A, so does anyone who has a functioning brain), and he spent some time there a while back! Gotta deliver the goods to the most awesome place in the world (IMO).
I almost forgot that Allison's opening for him! :D It's gonna be a fucking b-last, I can't wait.
*happy sigh*
