My weekend...
Aug. 25th, 2004 10:33 amI got home from camp (which was absolutely wonderful) on Saturday at around five-ish, and I left camp at around one thirty. The funny thing is that it only takes two hours to get home. The car broke down about half-an-hour away from home. Something to do with the engine-cooling system. So we stood around trying to tail cars down. The first two or three completely ignored us. Finally a pair of men stopped and helped us out. We had to take a taxi home, and we couldn't fit our suitcases in the taxi, so my sister's and my clothes are in the trunk of the car, and I've been wearing all the clothes I got last year, which are somewhat too small for me.
I spent the last three days with a few of my friends, and now I feel like I'm going to kill them. Sometimes absence really does make the heart grow fonder. I spent the entire summer away form them, and I return and fin they're practically at each other's throats. And now I've discovered that I need to sit back and chillax, while they sort their troubles out. I can't really do anything to help them, you know?
School starts in a week. I got my schedule, and from what I can tell it shouldn't be a half-bad year. In fact, I may actually have some fun. I saw Jason, and he looked pretty good. I wonder if anything will crop up between us this year.
